Previous Evolutions
In the past, spiders haven't ever evolved in a way that caused a change to their physical appearance. They have, however, changed in other ways. For one, they have managed to adapt to different climates worldwide. Modern spiders also have more kinds of silk than ancient spiders. Scientists have found this by looking at the remains and fossils of spiders and making fossil records. Over the years, spiders' webs have formed the orb shape that they have now. Previously, their webs were messy and not very effective so it is very logical that they evolved to make better formed webs.
Our Predictions
We predict that in 200,000 years pesticides will be very effective and there will be few bugs left for spiders to pray on. One adaptation that spiders will have to make is to make it so they are resistant to the pestecides. Spiders will also have to grow larger in order to make stronger webs. This will be necessary so that they can expand their food choices and prey on land mammals for food. In conclusion, we predict that in 200,000 years spiders will evolved to resist pesticides and to be larger so that their webs may catch an adaquit amount of food.
