Recently we have been trying to predict how horses will adapt in the future. We have come up with many different (and creative) ideas in which horses will adapt! Here we will tell you how we think this will happen.
We start out with our normal horse who has just been separated from its normal home with a good supply of plants and green grass by a huge forest fire that has burned all of the grass. Now that it can no longer eat it's regular diet of grass and plants, it must learn how to adapt to it's new environment.
1. All the grass dried because of drought, so the horse will grow sharper teeth because the grass is all gone. It will eat anything that it can kill. Such as rodents, and any animal smaller than it.

2. Now the horse has become a hunter. To hunt successfully, the horse must run faster and be a stronger animal. The horse will be get bigger in size so it can overpower its enemies and so it can hunt down smaller animals.
3. The horse will grow a taller neck so it can reach higher places to get food from trees or to hunt animals that live in trees. Such as birds, some tree snakes, and any possible obtainable food source in the trees.

4. The horse will grow claws on its feet so it can slash through it's prey or objects in its way. This will be crucial for it's survival.

5. The horse will grow smaller legs so it can run even faster than it originally could. With this new feature, it can run faster than it's prey and then catch it with ease.

So here are some of the predictions we have made on how the horse will evolve in the next 200,000 years. Each of our predictions are spaced out at about 40,000 years. We all hope you have enjoyed looking at our predictions, because we had a blast and enjoyed making this website for you. Now so if you are the owner of any of the pictures we have used, we will now show you where we got these photos.
