The Munchkin Cat is a cat with a mutation that gives them small legs. They are a domestic cat that doesn't hunt and it isn't hunted. The body of the cats gets to fat and they adapt for smaller bodies so their body and legs are in proportion. Humans used selective breeding for this so the munchkin cats can walk easier. They are domestic cats so they live indoors. The cats have been founded in Britian, 1944; Russia, 1956; New England, 1970; and Luisianna, 1980. The munchkin cats can live a healthy life up to 13 years or longer. It has a normal sized body but their legs are shorter in proportion.
